I woke up today knowing that it was time to transform. I got the final pictures of me with my long hair, since I wasn't going to have for awhile. After I got the pictures taken I went to Avoca with my friend Katie to pick up her sister and sister's roommates dogs. While we were waiting in the Wings parking lot for them to get there I took Katie's ponytail and threw my hair up straight out the top.
After messing with my hair the last time, she brought me back and dropped me off at my haircut. I was nervous to get it cut because I was having our friend Jenny, who graduated from a cosmitology school, cut it. She actually didn't do too bad off a job because she cut it short, but left my bangs long so they didn't curl up really high. This is going to be perfect for my next week as well, so I was pleased.
I went home to pack my bags and say goodbye to my family. After saying my goodbyes Katie and I took off back to school. On the way up Katie said that my haircut looked nice, and that jenny actually did a good job. I told her yeah it was going to be nice for the next couple of weeks.
