I woke up today hoping to get some actual feedback for this different look. I showered, and threw on a pair of American Eagle jeans, Aeropostale shirt, and gelled my hair for the day. When I went upstairs to see if my brother was around, I discovered that he had gone to get his haircut at the mall. I was a little upset that I wasn't able to go with because the mall is a good place to observe.
When he got back he told me that we were going to Buffalo Wild Wings, so I got excited. We had to wait for his friend Amanda to get done with work first though, so I worked on homework and he read a book. When she finally did get to our place she had brought one of her friends that was referred to as Rae Rae. After Matt gave them the grand tour we were ready for Buffalo Wild Wings.
On our way to Buffalo Wild Wings Amanda asked me why why I had gelled my hair, and why I was so dressed up. Jokingly, I told her it was because I was trying to be more like Matt. After having a nice little laugh at that I told her the real reason. She said that's cool, but shook her head when I told her about the weeks to come. She said there is no way I'm shaving my head. While we were at Buffalo Wild Wings I realized that I was getting more positive stares than when I had my long hair, so I was finally getting some feedback.
