I was feeling better today so I thought about going out. I showered and got all ready for the day. Mom was home on lunch break for work when she asked why I decided to start gelling my hair, so I told her I felt like switching it up.
As the day went on I still hadn't gotten ahold of anyone. I was sitting watching TV with my siste when she asked what was up with me looking like a jock. I told her that I wasn't trying to look like a jock, but I didn't want to tell her what I was doing so I left it at that.
It was starting to get dark outside when I finally got a text back from Justin. I asked him what he was up to, and he said that he was just out at his house. I went out there where him and his brother were watching TV. When I walked in they both asked why I was so dressed up. I told them that I wasn't dressed up for anything. I hung out there and more people came out asking the same question. Alls I got from this was that since I had gelled my hair and was wearing brand name clothes everyone thought I was dressy.
