Today I woke up excited because I knew it was the day I was changing. I showered and did all the same stuff for the last time. I got all of my things ready to head back to Ankeny. I hung out with the family while I waited for Katie to show up to take me away.
Katie showed up a few hours later, and we said our goodbyes. On the way to Ankeny Katie kept asking me if I was sure that I wanted to do this. I kept telling her that I was positive, but she kept asking. I think it is because she don't want me to dye my hair black or something.
When we got back to Ankeny we went straight to Wal Mart. We headed over to the dye section and I picked out the cheapest dye I could find. After that we went over to makeup and I had Katie tell me which eye liner would be the easiest to deal with. She picked out the same stuff she used, so it was time to pay and get this process started. We went home and she threw in the hair dye and after a half hour or so I went to shower. Katie had stuff to get done so she left, but I would have to say I don't look too bad with black hair.
